The quality of ghillie suits has gone south. I was at Byron Army & Navy yesterday looking for a new ghillie suit, and noticed their selection was quite a bit shabbier than their selection last year. I’ve included photos so you can see the difference:
Now in the first picture you can see how easy it is to blend into my surroundings with my buck knife and surveillance headphones. In the second picture, however, I couldn’t sneak up next to a blind woman, much less the CIA citizen-monitoring stations hidden in people’s homes throughout the city. I just don’t feel safe anymore.
I know the economy has gone south and it’s hard on a lot of small businesses, but cutting back on the quality of essential survival supplies is not the answer. I expect a public apology from James McDouglas, manager of the Army & Navy store, or he can expect to lose a once loyal customer, and I’ll just have to find another place to buy my deer urine.
